The Gulfport Admirals (Gulfport, MS) softball edged the visiting Harrison Central Red Rebels (Gulfport, MS), 4-3 in Tuesday's league challenge.
Next, the Admirals meet the Biloxi Indians (Biloxi, MS) in a 7A Region 4 challenge, on Thursday, March 27. Gulfport will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Indians enter the challenge with a 10-8 record after their 13-5 league loss to Ocean Springs (Ocean Springs, MS).
The Red Rebels (7-12) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Martin (Ocean Springs, MS). The Yellow Jackets enter the 7A Region 4 challenge with a 11-6 record. In their last challenge, St. Martin edged D'Iberville (D'Iberville, MS), 1-0, in a league challenge.
