The Hackberry Mustangs triumphed over the host Johnson Bayou Rebels softball squad by a count of 19-0 in Tuesday's league challenge.
Next, the Mustangs play the Singer Hornets (Singer, LA) in a C District 4 challenge, on Thursday, March 27. Hackberry will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Hornets enter the challenge with a 2-9 record after their 13-6 non-league loss to Lacassine (Lacassine, LA).
The Rebels (0-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Starks (Starks, LA). The Panthers enter the C District 4 challenge with a 9-2 record. In their last challenge, Starks overcame South Cameron (Creole, LA), 16-3, in a league challenge.
