New Mexico High School Softball - Highland succumbs to West Mesa

In Tuesday's non-league test, the West Mesa Mustangs (Albuquerque, NM) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Highland Hornets (Albuquerque, NM), by a tally of 20-0.
Next, the Mustangs clash with the Aztec Tigers (Aztec, NM) in a non-league test, on Thursday, March 27. West Mesa will attempt to advance on its 5-7 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 3-9 record after their 8-6 non-league win over San Juan (Blanding, UT).
The Hornets (1-7) will now prepare for their test against Socorro (Socorro, NM). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Socorro prevailed over Mescalero Apache (Mescalero, NM), 29-18, in a non-league test.
