Texas High School Softball - San Marcos succumbs to Johnson

In Tuesday's league test, the Johnson Jaguars (Buda, TX) softball squad overwhelmed the host San Marcos Rattlers (San Marcos, TX), by a tally of 17-9.

Next, the Jaguars meet the La Vernia Bears (La Vernia, TX) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, April 1. Johnson will attempt to advance on its 16-3 season record. The Bears go into the test with a 17-5 record after their 9-6 league loss to Gonzales (Gonzales, TX).

The Rattlers (9-12) will now prepare for their test against Clemens (Schertz, TX). The Buffaloes go into the 6A Region IV District 27 test with a 14-6 record. In their last test, Clemens was routed by Steele (Cibolo, TX), 6-5, in a league test.
