In Tuesday's league test, the Midland Rebels (Midland, LA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy Tigers (Lafayette, LA), by a tally of 26-7.
Next, the Rebels clash with the Welsh Greyhounds (Welsh, LA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, March 27. Midland will attempt to advance on its 6-9 season record. The Greyhounds go into the test with a 4-7 record after their 16-0 league loss to Notre Dame (Crowley, LA).
The Tigers (0-7) will now prepare for their test against Lafayette Christian Academy (Lafayette, LA). The Knights go into the 4A District 4 test with a 11-7 record. In their last test, Lafayette Christian Academy prevailed over Lake Arthur (Lake Arthur, LA), 5-4, in a league test.
