The Wampus Cats (8-7) will now prepare for their bout against Iowa (Iowa, LA). The Yellowjackets go into the 3A District 3 bout with a 17-7 record. In their last bout, Iowa knocked off Pine Prairie (Pine Prairie, LA), 2-1, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Gators clash with the Washington-Marion Charging Indians (Lake Charles, LA) in a 4A District 3 bout, on Thursday, March 27. LaGrange will attempt to move on its 0-10 season record. The Charging Indians come into the outing with a 1-9 record after their 17-2 league loss to Eunice (Eunice, LA).
