The Wayne County War Eagles overwhelmed the visiting Laurel Golden Tornadoes softball squad by a count of 25-0 in Tuesday's league challenge.
Next, the War Eagles meet the Laurel Golden Tornadoes (Laurel, MS) in a 5A Region 4 challenge, on Tuesday, March 25. Wayne County will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record. The Golden Tornadoes go into the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 27-4 league loss to Gautier (Gautier, MS).
