Kentucky High School Softball - Lincoln County bested by Russell County

The Russell County Lakers triumphed over the host Lincoln County Patriots softball squad by a count of 13-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Lakers play the Southwestern Warriors (Somerset, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, March 27. Russell County will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 13-1 non-league win over Casey County (Liberty, KY).

The Patriots (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Southwestern (Somerset, KY). The Warriors enter the non-league challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Southwestern overcame Casey County (Liberty, KY), 13-1, in a non-league challenge.
