Meigs County Tigers (Decatur, TN) supporters left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Midway Green Wave (Kingston, TN), 13-0 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Meigs County improves its record to 2-5 on the year. The Tigers travel to Roane County (Kingston, TN) to clash with the Yellowjackets in a 2A District 3 bout on Thursday, March 27. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 6-0. Roane County won 11-0 in their recent league bout against McMinn Central (Englewood, TN)

In their next game, the Green Wave clash with the Oakdale Eagles (Oakdale, TN) in a 1A District 4 bout, on Thursday, March 27. Midway will attempt to advance on its 0-6 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 7-0 record after their 14-0 league win over Rockwood (Rockwood, TN).
