California High School Softball - Placer bounces Nevada Union

March 25, 2025: Grass Valley, CA 95945

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Placer Hillmen (Auburn, CA) and the host Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA), observed Placer's softball team prevail over Nevada Union by a tally of 12-1.

The Hillmen (8-3) will now prepare for their bout against Foresthill (Foresthill, CA). The Wildfires go into the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Foresthill was routed by Placer (Auburn, CA), 20-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Miners clash with the Twelve Bridges Raging Rhinos (Lincoln, CA) in a Foothill Valley League bout, on Thursday, March 27. Nevada Union will attempt to advance on its 1-8 season record. The Raging Rhinos go into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 6-3 league loss to Yuba City (Yuba City, CA).
