Texas High School Softball - Sundown bounces New Home

March 25, 2025: Sundown, TX 79372

In Tuesday's league match, the host Sundown Roughnecks softball team scored a nice 18-3 win over the New Home Leopards.

The Roughnecks (10-2) will now prepare for their match against Post (Post, TX). The Antelopes come into the 2A Region I District 4 match with a 9-10 record. In their last match, Post notched a victory over Seagraves (Seagraves, TX), 18-0, in a league match.

In their next game, the Leopards battle the Morton Indians (Morton, TX) in a 2A Region I District 4 match, on Saturday, March 29. New Home will attempt to better on its 4-9 season record. The Indians come into the match with a 1-10 record after their 24-1 league loss to Tahoka (Tahoka, TX).
