Washington High School Softball - Newport topped by Northwest Christian School

Northwest Christian School Crusaders (Colbert, WA) boosters exited the stadium happy Tuesday as they observed their softball team prevail over the host Newport Grizzlies (Newport, WA), 11-2 in a non-league bout.

The Crusaders (2-1) will now prepare for their bout against Reardan (Reardan, WA). The Screaming Eagles go into the 2B Bi-County bout with a 1-2 record. In their last bout, Reardan knocked off Davenport (Davenport, WA), 8-7, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Grizzlies clash with the Riverside Rams (Chattaroy, WA) in a 1A Northeast bout, on Thursday, March 27. Newport will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 13-0 non-league loss to Coeur d'Alene (Coeur d'Alene, ID).
