In Tuesday's league test, the Pine Prairie Panthers (Pine Prairie, LA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Northwest Raiders (Opelousas, LA), by a count of 22-0.
Next, the Panthers meet the Iowa Yellowjackets (Iowa, LA) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, March 26. Pine Prairie will attempt to upgrade on its 21-2 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the test with a 15-7 record after their 9-6 non-league loss to Live Oak (Watson, LA).
The Raiders (0-4) will now prepare for their test against Ville Platte (Ville Platte, LA). The Bulldogs go into the 3A District 4 test with a 5-5 record. In their last test, Ville Platte was routed by Marksville (Marksville, LA), 15-5, in a non-league test.
