The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Towson Generals (Towson, MD) and the host Sparrows Point Pointers (Baltimore, MD), observed Towson's softball team prevail over Sparrows Point by a tally of 18-5.
The Generals (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against Catonsville (Baltimore, MD). The Comets go into the non-league bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Catonsville was routed by Dulaney (Timonium, MD), 2-1, in a non-league bout.
