The Rangers (8-2) will now prepare for their match against Manvel (Manvel, TX). The Mavericks go into the 5A Region III District 22 match with a 6-10 record. In their last match, Manvel edged Waltrip (Houston, TX), 5-2, in a non-league match.

The Ganders (7-9) will now prepare for their match against Santa Fe (Santa Fe, TX). The Indians go into the 5A Region III District 22 match with a 9-11 record. In their last match, Santa Fe was overwhelmed by Friendswood (Friendswood, TX), 8-2, in a league match.
