The Frenship Tigers baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Abilene Eagles to 0 in the Tigers league victory on Saturday.
The Tigers (12-7) will now prepare for their match against San Angelo Central (San Angelo, TX). The Bobcats go into the 6A Region I District 2 match with a 3-10 record. In their last match, San Angelo Central was overwhelmed by Midland (Midland, TX), 13-1, in a league match.
The Eagles (1-6) will now prepare for their match against Permian (Odessa, TX). The Panthers go into the 6A Region I District 2 match with a 9-3 record. In their last match, Permian gained a win over Midland (Midland, TX), 2-1, in a league match.
