The Anderson-Shiro Fighting Owls baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Lexington Eagles to 6 in the Fighting Owls non-league victory on Saturday.

The Fighting Owls (7-7) will now prepare for their match against Tarkington (Cleveland, TX). The Longhorns go into the 3A Region III District 23 match with a 8-7 record. In their last match, Tarkington edged Hardin (Hardin, TX), 10-0, in a league match.

The Eagles (2-3) will now prepare for their match against Florence (Florence, TX). The Buffaloes go into the 3A Region III District 19 match with a 1-10 record.
