Texas High School Baseball - Jefferson loses to Edison

The Jefferson Mustangs baseball team (San Antonio, TX), was overwhelmed 14-1 in Saturday's league outing with the visiting Edison Golden Bears (San Antonio, TX)

The Golden Bears now hold a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to San Antonio Memorial for a 5A Region IV District 27 outing on Tuesday, March 29. Edison will confront a Minutemen team coming off a 15-0 league loss to John F. Kennedy (San Antonio, TX). The Minutemen record now stands at 1-10.

Next, the Mustangs confront the Brackenridge Eagles (San Antonio, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 27 outing, on Tuesday, March 29. Jefferson will attempt to advance on its 4-11 season record. The Eagles go into the outing with a 14-3 record after their 10-0 league win over Highlands (San Antonio, TX).
