Riverside Bulldogs (Avon, MS) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting North Side Gators (Shelby, MS), 12-8 in a non-league test.

With the win, Riverside upgrades its record to 13-3 on the season. The Bulldogs host Greenville (Greenville, MS) to battle the Hornets in a non-league test on Saturday, April 2. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 1-9. Greenville lost 10-0 in their recent league test against Lafayette (Oxford, MS)

With the defeat, North Side falls to 0-4 on the season. The Gators travel to Leland (Leland, MS) to battle the Cubs in a 2A Region 3 test on Tuesday, April 5. The Cubs come into the test with a record of 0-5.
