Spectators at Saturday's league battle between the Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV) and the visiting Silver Stage Nighthawks (Silver Springs, NV), saw Pershing County's baseball squad edge Silver Stage by a count of 6-5.

Coming up next, the Mustangs play the West Wendover Wolverines (West Wendover, NV) in a 2A Northern battle, on Friday, April 1. Pershing County will attempt to move on its 1-10 season record. The Wolverines enter the battle with a 5-5 record after their 4-2 league win over North Tahoe (Tahoe City, CA).

The Nighthawks now possess a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Tahoe for a 2A Northern battle on Tuesday, March 29. Silver Stage will play a Lakers squad coming off a 4-2 league loss to West Wendover (West Wendover, NV). The Lakers record now stands at 4-2.
