Kentucky High School Baseball - Rockcastle County defeats Whitley County

March 26, 2022: Williamsburg, KY 40769

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the Rockcastle County Rockets (Mt. Vernon, KY) baseball squad triumphed over the host Whitley County Colonels (Williamsburg, KY), by a final score of 13-6.

With the win, Rockcastle County upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Rockets host Wayne County (Monticello, KY) to encounter the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 29. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 5-0. Wayne County won 13-10 in their recent non-league challenge against Garrard County (Lancaster, KY)

With the defeat, Whitley County falls to 3-2 on the season. The Colonels host North Laurel (London, KY) to encounter the Jaguars in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 28. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a record of 2-2.
