Florida High School Softball - Forest holds off South Sumter

The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Forest Wildcats (Ocala, FL) and the host South Sumter Raiders (Bushnell, FL), saw Forest's softball squad nip South Sumter by a count of 10-8.
The Wildcats now sport a 10-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Winter Springs for a match on Tuesday, March 29. Forest will face a Bears squad coming off a 8-8 non-league Seminole (Sanford, FL). The Bears record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, South Sumter falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Raiders host Forest (Ocala, FL) to face the Wildcats in a match on Monday, April 11. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 11-2.
