Quitman Wolverines (Quitman, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Minden Crimson Tide (Minden, LA), 16-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Wolverines now own a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they host North Webster for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 28. Quitman will face a Knights squad coming off a 12-7 non-league loss to Caldwell Parish (Columbia, LA). The Knights record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Minden falls to 13-5 on the campaign. The Crimson tide host Northwood (Shreveport, LA) to face the Falcons in a 4A District 1 challenge on Tuesday, March 29. The Falcons enter the challenge with a record of 6-3. Northwood won 16-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Saline (Saline, LA)
