Spectators at Saturday's league match between the Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV) and the visiting Silver Stage Nighthawks (Silver Springs, NV), witnessed Pershing County's softball squad prevail over Silver Stage by a count of 17-2.

The Mustangs now sport a 10-1 record. They play next when they host West Wendover for a 2A- Northern match on Friday, April 1. Pershing County will meet a Wolverines squad coming off a 1-0 league win over North Tahoe (Tahoe City, CA). The Wolverines record now stands at 3-7.

With the loss, Silver Stage moves to 2-8 on the season. The Nighthawks host North Tahoe (Tahoe City, CA) to meet the Lakers in a 2A- Northern match on Saturday, April 2. The Lakers go into the match with a record of 0-3. North Tahoe lost 1-0 in their recent league match against West Wendover (West Wendover, NV)
