Spectators at Tuesday's league battle between the Hopewell Titans (Huntersville, NC) and the host Chambers Cougars (Charlotte, NC), saw Hopewell's baseball squad knock off Chambers by a count of 15-1.

Coming up next, the Titans play the South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, March 30. Hopewell will attempt to move on its 10-2 season record. The Sabres enter the battle with a 11-1 record after their 10-4 non-league win over Sun Valley (Monroe, NC).

The Cougars now possess a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Mecklenburg for a Queen City 3A/4A battle on Tuesday, April 9.
