The Teague Lions baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Elkhart Elks to 0 in the Lions league victory on Tuesday.

The Lions (7-10) will now prepare for their match against Groesbeck (Groesbeck, TX). The Goats go into the 3A Region III District 20 match with a 10-8 record. In their last match, Groesbeck gained a win over Fairfield (Fairfield, TX), 6-5, in a league match.

The Elks (2-14) will now prepare for their match against Buffalo (Buffalo, TX). The Bison go into the 3A Region III District 20 match with a 7-9 record. In their last match, Buffalo was overwhelmed by Franklin (Franklin, TX), 14-4, in a league match.
