The Roswell Coyotes baseball team scored 3 runs and limited the visiting Gadsden Panthers to 1 in the Coyotes non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Coyotes (7-3) will now prepare for their match against Santa Teresa (Santa Teresa, NM). The Desert Warriors go into the non-league match with a 4-7 record. In their last match, Santa Teresa edged Cathedral (El Paso, TX), 9-3, in a non-league match.
The Panthers (4-7) will now prepare for their match against Organ Mountain (Las Cruces, NM). The Knights go into the 5A District 3 match with a 8-3 record. In their last match, Organ Mountain edged Deming (Deming, NM), 11-1, in a non-league match.
