California High School Baseball - Healdsburg nips Santa Rosa

Healdsburg Greyhounds (Healdsburg, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Santa Rosa Panthers (Santa Rosa, CA), 2-1 in a league test.

With the win, Healdsburg upgrades its record to 4-7 on the season. The Greyhounds host Piner (Santa Rosa, CA) to battle the Prospectors in a North Bay - Redwood test on Thursday, March 28. The Prospectors come into the test with a record of 1-7. Piner won 11-1 in their recent league test against St. Vincent de Paul (Petaluma, CA)

With the defeat, Santa Rosa falls to 5-4 on the season. The Panthers host Pittsburg (Pittsburg, CA) to battle the Pirates in a non-league test on Friday, March 29. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 8-3. Pittsburg won 5-3 in their recent non-league test against Foothill (Pleasanton, CA)
