Texas High School Baseball - New Deal can't hold off Morton

In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Morton Indians baseball team scored a tight 10-9 victory over the New Deal Lions.

The Indians (4-1) will now prepare for their game against Borden County (Gail, TX). The Coyotes go into the 1A Region I District 4 game with a 9-5 record. In their last game, Borden County tipped Midland Texas Leadership Charter Academy (Midland, TX), 15-5, in a non-league game.

The Lions (8-5) will now prepare for their game against Hale Center (Hale Center, TX). The Owls go into the 2A Region I District 3 game with a 3-8 record.
