The Northwest Halifax Vikings (Littleton, NC) baseball trounced the host Weldon Chargers (Weldon, NC), 18-10 in Tuesday's league contest.

Coming up next, the Vikings play the Warren County Eagles (Warrenton, NC) in a Tar Roanoke 1A contest, on Thursday, March 28. Northwest Halifax will attempt to better on its 3-0 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 3-2 record after their 15-2 league win over Rocky Mount Prep (Rocky Mount, NC).

The Chargers now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host KIPP Pride for a Tar Roanoke 1A contest on Thursday, March 28. Weldon will play a Pride squad coming off a 19-18 league win over North Edgecombe (Tarboro, NC). The Pride record now stands at 1-3.
