The Oceanside Pirates topped the visiting Escondido Cougars volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Tuesday's league test.
The Pirates now have a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valley Center for a test on Thursday, March 28. Oceanside will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 2-1 league win over Ramona (Ramona, CA). The Jaguars record now stands at 4-1.
The Cougars (1-6) will now prepare for their test against Canyon Crest Academy (San Diego, CA). The Ravens enter the non-league test with a 19-2 record. In their last test, Canyon Crest Academy gained a win over La Costa Canyon (Carlsbad, CA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
