In Tuesday's league contest, the Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC) lacrosse squad routed the visiting Hoggard Vikings (Wilmington, NC), by a count of 16-5.

Coming up next, the Screaming Eagle confront the West Brunswick Trojans (Shallotte, NC) in a Mideastern contest, on Wednesday, March 27. Ashley will attempt to advance on its 6-2 season record. The Trojans enter the contest with a 1-6 record after their 4-3 league win over New Hanover (Wilmington, NC).

The Vikings now own a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Laney for a Mideastern contest on Thursday, March 28. Hoggard will confront a Buccaneers squad coming off a 21-1 non-league win over Marysville (Marysville, OH). The Buccaneers record now stands at 8-3.
