The P.K. Yonge Blue Wave (Gainesville, FL) softball the visiting Cedar Key Sharks (Cedar Key, FL), 5-3 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Blue Wave (4-5) will now prepare for their bout against North Marion (Citra, FL). The Colts go into the non-league bout with a 7-3 record. In their last bout, North Marion held off Bronson (Bronson, FL), 6-3, in a non-league bout.
The Sharks now possess a 0-7 record. They play next when they host Leesburg for a non-league bout on Thursday, March 28. Cedar Key will confront a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 14-6 non-league loss to Lake Weir (Ocala, FL). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 10-1.
