Desert Mountain Wolves (Scottsdale, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Chaparral Firebirds (Scottsdale, AZ), 4-0 in a league challenge.

The Wolves now own a 15-3 record. They take the field next when they host Paradise Valley for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 1. Desert Mountain will battle a Trojans squad coming off a 16-1 league loss to Centennial (Peoria, AZ). The Trojans record now stands at 4-8.

With the loss, Chaparral falls to 12-6 on the campaign. The Firebirds travel to Notre Dame Prep (Scottsdale, AZ) to battle the Saints in a 5A Northeast Valley challenge on Wednesday, March 27. The Saints enter the challenge with a record of 7-9.
