Texas High School Softball - Wimberley loses to Davenport

The Davenport Wolves softball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Wimberley Texans to 0 in the Wolves league victory on Tuesday.
The Wolves (12-9) will now prepare for their battle against Canyon Lake (Fischer, TX). The go into the 4A Region IV District 27 battle with a 7-9 record. In their last battle, Canyon Lake notched a victory over Bandera (Bandera, TX), 16-0, in a league battle.
The Texans now possess a 17-9 record. They play next when they travel to Boerne for a 4A Region IV District 27 battle on Thursday, March 28. Wimberley will meet a Greyhounds squad coming off a 12-2 league loss to Fredericksburg (Fredericksburg, TX). The Greyhounds record now stands at 12-13.
