The Emerson Mavericks softball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Liberty Redhawks to 6 in the Mavericks league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Emerson moves its record to 16-8 on the year. The Mavericks host Lebanon Trail (Frisco, TX) to clash with the Trail Blazers in a 5A Region II District 10 game on Friday, March 29. The Trail Blazers come into the game with a record of 11-3. Lebanon Trail lost 13-0 in their recent league game against Walnut Grove (Prosper, TX)

In their next game, the Redhawks clash with the Heritage Coyotes (Frisco, TX) in a 5A Region II District 10 game, on Thursday, March 28. Liberty will attempt to move on its 5-11 season record.
