George Ranch Longhorns (Richmond, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Fort Bend Austin Bulldogs (Sugar Land, TX), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Longhorns now own a 17-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fort Bend Travis for a 6A Region III District 20 challenge on Thursday, March 28. George Ranch will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 13-5 league win over Fort Bend Dulles (Sugar Land, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 10-6.

With the loss, Fort Bend Austin falls to 3-14 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Fort Bend Elkins (Missouri City, TX) to battle the Knights in a 6A Region III District 20 challenge on Thursday, March 28. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 6-9. Fort Bend Elkins won 13-3 in their recent league challenge against Fort Bend Clements (Sugar Land, TX)
