The Gainesville Leopards softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Wichita Falls Coyotes to 1 in the Leopards league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Gainesville moves its record to 5-9 on the year. The Leopards travel to Sanger (Sanger, TX) to clash with the Indians in a 4A Region I District 7 game on Thursday, March 28. The Indians come into the game with a record of 21-5. Sanger won 17-0 in their recent league game against Hirschi (Wichita Falls, TX)

In their next game, the Coyotes clash with the Burkburnett Bulldogs (Burkburnett, TX) in a 4A Region I District 7 game, on Friday, March 29. Wichita Falls will attempt to move on its 1-11 season record. The Bulldogs come into the game with a 11-8 record after their 15-0 league win over Gainesville (Gainesville, TX).
