Highland Park Scots (Dallas, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Richardson Eagles (Richardson, TX), 12-10 in a league challenge.

The Scots now own a 10-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pearce for a 6A Region I District 7 challenge on Thursday, March 28. Highland Park will battle a Mustangs squad coming off a 10-4 league loss to Irving (Irving, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-10.

With the loss, Richardson falls to 3-11 on the campaign. The Eagles host Nimitz (Irving, TX) to battle the Vikings in a 6A Region I District 7 challenge on Thursday, March 28. The Vikings enter the challenge with a record of 2-11. Nimitz won 6-5 in their recent league challenge against Highland Park (Dallas, TX)
