Arizona High School Softball - Mountain Pointe topped by Higley

The Higley Knights softball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Mountain Pointe Pride to 0 in the Knights league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Higley moves its record to 11-4 on the year. The Knights travel to Campo Verde (Gilbert, AZ) to clash with the Coyotes in a 5A San Tan game on Friday, March 29. The Coyotes come into the game with a record of 7-11. Campo Verde lost 10-7 in their recent non-league game against Horizon (Scottsdale, AZ)

In their next game, the Pride clash with the Casteel Colts (Queen Creek, AZ) in a 5A San Tan game, on Friday, March 29. Mountain Pointe will attempt to move on its 5-8 season record. The Colts come into the game with a 1-11 record after their 18-0 non-league loss to Basha (Chandler, AZ).
