New York High School Softball - Island Trees can't hold off Long Beach

The Long Beach Marines softball team scored 3 runs and limited the visiting Island Trees Bulldogs to 2 in the Marines league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Long Beach moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Marines travel to Island Trees (Levittown, NY) to clash with the Bulldogs in a Class A Conference 1 game on Thursday, April 18. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 0-1.
In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Hicksville Comets (Hicksville, NY) in a Section 8 AA-2 game, on Thursday, March 28. Island Trees will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
