Johnson Jaguars (Buda, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Lake Travis Cavaliers (Austin, TX), 4-0 in a league challenge.

The Jaguars now own a 13-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Del Valle for a 6A Region IV District 26 challenge on Thursday, March 28. Johnson will battle a Cardinals squad coming off a 5-2 league loss to Bowie (Austin, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 22-9.

With the loss, Lake Travis falls to 16-10 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host Akins (Austin, TX) to battle the Eagles in a 6A Region IV District 26 challenge on Thursday, March 28. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 1-14. Akins lost 12-3 in their recent league challenge against Westlake (Austin, TX)
