The Lexington Wildcats softball team scored 5 runs and limited the host White Knoll Timberwolves to 1 in the Wildcats league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Lexington improves its record to 5-2 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Dutch Fork (Irmo, SC) to clash with the Silver Foxes in a AAAAA Region 4 game on Tuesday, April 9. The Silver Foxes come into the game with a record of 3-4. Dutch Fork lost 12-0 in their recent league game against Chapin (Chapin, SC)

In their next game, the Timberwolves clash with the Chapin Eagles (Chapin, SC) in a AAAAA Region 4 game, on Thursday, March 28. White Knoll will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 9-2 record after their 12-0 league win over Dutch Fork (Irmo, SC).
