The Pottsville Crimson Tide softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Tamaqua Blue Raiders to 1 in the Crimson Tide league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Pottsville moves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Crimson Tide travel to North Schuylkill (Ashland, PA) to clash with the Spartans in a Schuylkill I game on Thursday, March 28. The Spartans come into the game with a record of 0-1. North Schuylkill lost 12-7 in their recent non-league game against Shamokin Area (Coal Township, PA)

In their next game, the Blue Raiders clash with the Tri-Valley Bulldogs (Hegins, PA) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 1. Tamaqua will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record.
