West Rowan Falcons (Mt. Ulla, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host South Rowan Raiders (China Grove, NC), 12-2 in a league challenge.

The Falcons now own a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they host Northwest Cabarrus for a South Piedmont 3A challenge on Thursday, March 28. West Rowan will battle a Trojans squad coming off a 9-0 league loss to East Rowan (Salisbury, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 4-2.

With the loss, South Rowan falls to 4-6 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC) to battle the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 27. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 5-2. Mount Pleasant won 19-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Anson (Wadesboro, NC)
