Kentucky High School Baseball - Jackson City wallops Buckhorn

The Jackson City Tigers baseball team scored 16 runs and held the host Buckhorn Wildcats to 2 in the Tigers non-league win on Wednesday.

The Tigers now own a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Somerset Christian for a non-league test on Friday, March 28. Jackson City will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 21-2 non-league loss to Clinton County (Albany, KY). The Cougars record now stands at 1-2.

With the defeat, Buckhorn drops to 3-3 on the year. The Wildcats host Leslie County (Hyden, KY) to clash with the Eagles in a District 54 test on Thursday, March 27. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 1-6. Leslie County lost 12-1 in their recent non-league test against Letcher County Central (Whitesburg, KY)
