The Lincoln Charter Eagles baseball squad (Denver, NC), was overwhelmed 7-2 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the host Burns Bulldogs (Lawndale, NC)

With the triumph, Burns moves its record to 12-2 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Bessemer City (Bessemer City, NC) to confront the Yellow Jackets in a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A contest on Friday, March 28. The Yellow Jackets come into the contest with a record of 4-7. Bessemer City lost 16-0 in their recent league contest against Burns (Lawndale, NC)

The Eagles now possess a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pine Lake Prep for a Catawba Shores Athletic 1A/2A contest on Friday, March 28. Lincoln Charter will confront a Pride squad coming off a 12-2 league loss to Lincoln Charter (Denver, NC). The Pride record now stands at 9-3.
