Maryland High School Baseball - Paul VI holds off St. Mary's Ryken

The Paul VI Panthers baseball team scored 6 runs and held the host St. Mary's Ryken Knights to 2 in the Panthers league win on Wednesday.

The Panthers now own a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they host Gonzaga for a Washington Catholic test on Saturday, March 29. Paul VI will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 14-2 league win over Bishop McNamara (Forestville, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 6-4.

With the defeat, St. Mary's Ryken drops to 4-2 on the year. The Knights travel to Chagrin Falls (Chagrin Falls, OH) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league test on Friday, March 28. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 0-1. Chagrin Falls lost 4-3 in their recent non-league test against Northwest (Canal Fulton, OH)
