In Wednesday's non-league bout, the Trinity Christian Warriors (Morgantown, WV) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Valley Lumberjacks (Pine Grove, WV), by a tally of 18-8.
The Warriors now hold a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Notre Dame for a non-league test on Saturday, March 29. Trinity Christian will play a Fighting Irish team coming off a 7-2 non-league loss to Grafton (Grafton, WV). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 2-3.
With the defeat, Valley drops to 0-2 on the year. The Lumberjacks travel to St. Marys (St. Marys, WV) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league test on Friday, March 28. The Blue Devils go into the test with a record of 1-3. St. Marys lost 11-1 in their recent league test against Ritchie County (Ellenboro, WV)
