The Western Harnett Eagles (Lillington, NC) baseball trounced the host Westover Wolverines (Fayetteville, NC), 17-1 in Wednesday's league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 2-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Overhills for a All American 3A/4A challenge on Friday, March 28. Western Harnett will clash with a Jaguars team coming off a 15-2 league win over Western Harnett (Lillington, NC). The Jaguars record now stands at 6-4.
With the defeat, Westover drops to 0-8 on the year. The Wolverines host Triton (Erwin, NC) to clash with the Hawks in a All American 3A/4A challenge on Friday, March 28. The Hawks go into the challenge with a record of 7-6. Triton won 10-0 in their recent league challenge against Westover (Fayetteville, NC)
